We are proud to present our Concert, with our special guest Claudia Boyle


Irish soprano Claudia Boyle graduated from the Masters course at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with first class honours. She studies with teachers Mary Brennan, Suzanne Murphy and repetiteur Mairead Hurley.
Claudia studied on the Opera Theatre Company’s Young Artist Programme from 2006-08. Student roles include Sandrina La Finta Giardiniera and Queen of the Night The Magic Flute. Other roles include Violetta La Traviata, Micaela and Frasquita Carmen, Barbarina Le nozze di Figaro, Adina L’elisir d’Amore, Musetta La boheme and Fenena Nabucco.
She has appeared in concert with the National Symphony Orchestra and the RTE Concert Orchestra. In July 2009, Claudia was awarded third prize in the operetta section at the Belvedere International Singing Competition in Vienna. She was also was awarded the Irene Standford Award in the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the inaugural Mary Brennan Bursary in 2008.
She won the ‘Best Female Singer’ category at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Buxton, after which she was invited to perform at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Claudia has just been accepted onto the prestigious Young Singer’s Project at the 2010 Salzburg Opera Festival where she will also understudy the role of Lulu.
